In December 2003 my husband and I took the decision to open our own children's nursery. Some 2 years later we finally received planning permission and on the day after Boxing day 2005 my husband, dad and brother started to dig out the foundations.
9 Months later our first nursery was born and on 6th September 2006 Nanny Jo's opened the doors to children for the first time. After a successful first year with occupancy rising steadily and achieving an OUTSTANDING in all areas at our first Ofsted inspection we stumbled across an opportunity to open our second nursery locally to Nanny Jo's. Another 12 months later and we received planning permission to refurbish the old sorting office in Walton-on-naze and just 5 months on Letterbox nursery opened it's doors to start trading.
