We Believe that children benefit most from early years education and care when parents/guardians and the setting work together in partnership.

Our aim is to support parents/guardians as their child’s first and most important educators by providing care and learning opportunities for children

All our staff view themselves as educators working in partnership with you the parents, allowing interaction and involvement with daily life at nursery to fully benefit the child’s education and development

We welcome parents into the nursery to either interact or simply observe. Parents can help with particular activities, sessions, speak to staff or see the nursery at work.

Parental Involvement at the Nursery Enables Parents to:

·         See day to day life at the nursery

·         Experience the children’s activities first hand

·         Share their own special interests with children

·         Take part in events and informal discussions about the activities and curriculum provided by the nursery

·         Develop a strong relationship with their child’s Key Person who makes sure each child in their care makes satisfying progress

·         Observe that their child is in an environment that sees adults as good role models in helping each child to learn and develop
